The target point signal exhibits mounting means in which a base part (10) and a head part (11) are rotatably connected to one another via a rotating device (20). The head part carries table boards which are mounted so as to be perpendicular to one another and protruding in the radial direction. At the height of the lower edge of the table boards (12, 13), a pair of reflectors (14, 15) is mounted above one another so that the target point signal can be used both for range and for angle measurements (Fig. 1). <IMAGE>
