PURPOSE:To continuously perform a cutting work without any help of a main hand and to improve the working efficiency by longitudinally feeding a pipe by moving the chuck giving a rotation to the pipe in the pipe axial direction and performing the cutting of the pipe and feeding of a material alternately. CONSTITUTION:A pipe blank 1 is fixed by a chuck 5 at its pipe end and the rotation transmitted from a variable speed prime mover 6 is given via a speed reducer 7. The chuck 5, speed reducer 7 and pipe blank 1, etc., are moved in the axial direction of the pipe 1 with a truck 3 traveling along a rail 4. The cutting work can be performed without the medium of a man hand continuously by alternately performing the cutting the pipe 1 by fixing a cutting torch 9 to the front face of the pipe 1 and the traveling with the NC control of the truck, namely the feeding of the material. Owing to the cutting position being fixed the generation of a product 2 and scrap is performed at a constant position and they are taken off naturally with their free dropping. |
