<p>PURPOSE:To effectively use an existing PROM write device by connecting an adaptor to a PROM write device whose object is some specific PROM, so that other kind of PROM can become a write object. CONSTITUTION:For instance, at the time of executing write with regard to a 28-pin PROM, a socket 3 of a write device body 1 and a connector 21 of an adaptor part 2 are set to a separated state, and to its socket 3, the 28-pin PROM is connected. According to such a connection, an MPU 5 executes a control program which has been stored in a ROM 10, and by a write/read-out part 9 and a voltage generating part 12, data which has been stored in a RAM 11 in advance is written in the 28-pin PROM. Also, when other 28-pin PROM which has been written in advance is connected to the socket 3, data which has been written in its PROM is read out and stored in the buffer memory 11.</p> |
