The novel N-phenyl-substituted glycines of the formula <IMAGE> can be prepared by esterification of aminoethylphenylglycines to give aminoethylphenylglycine esters, reaction with sulphonyl halides and subsequent hydrolysis. The novel compounds can be used as active ingredients in medicaments.
