In an arrangement for adjusting the tooth clearance between the driving gears of sheet-conveying cylinders and drums of a sheet-fed rotary printing machine, all the sheet-conveying cylinders and drums are pivotably mounted in lateral frames of modules in eccentric bushes. This arrangement permits a simple and rapid adjustment of a given clearance both between the driving gears within the modules and between the driving gears of two adjacent modules.
