PURPOSE:To obtain an optical information recoding medium with a high stability of the recording part and free from the deterioration of recording characteristics by blending polyamid to a recording medium which contains a specific metallic complex group. CONSTITUTION:An optical information recording medium is composed of a support 10 and a recording layer 20 which contains a metallic complex of a monoazo compound and polyamid as shown by the formula (I), In the recording layer, a polyamide resin shown a strong mutual action with metallic complex molecules and also acts to inhibit the crystallization of a metallic complex. the kind of polyamide resin is selected arbitrarily considering the solubility of a solvent, and the ratio of the content of a resin to the metallic complex generally ranges from 0.1wt% or more to 50wt%. The preferable film thickness of a recording layer to be provided is 10-500nm and also the desirable permeability of the film to a recording laser beam is 70% or less. |
