In the case of an optical resonator of a laser apparatus, the relative position of the mirrors which are located at the ends of the resonator must be capable of adjustment during assembly in order to ensure that the two mirrors lie exactly parallel to one another. For this purpose it is necessary that at least one of the mirrors can be adjusted about the two axes which are at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the resonator. In order to be able to carry out such an adjustment in a reproduceable manner, the invention proposes to pull a mirror support against a fixed-position bearing part with the aid of magnets, the mirror support being supported at three points. Two of the supporting points are adjustable and are arranged in such a manner that the mirror surface can be pivoted about one of the two said axes by adjustment of in each case one supporting point.
