<p>NEW MATERIAL:A human monoclonal antibody belonging to human immunoglobulin M having lambda-chain, having a sperm immobilization value of >=5,000 in terms of SI50 and a sperm agglutination value of >=1:1600 dilution, reactive specifically to ejected human sperm, seminal plasma and seminal vesicle, non-reactive with other human components, exhibiting weak cross-reactivity with ejected swine sperm and non-reactive with sperm of cattle, goat, rabbit, hamster, rat, etc. USE:Contraceptive and reagent for purifying corresponding antigen. PREPARATION:For example, peripheral blood lymphocyte is collected from a woman of 39 years old, barren for >=15 years and having strong sperm immobilizing and sperm agglutinating antibody. The lymphocyte is fused with mouse myeloma cell and cloned by limiting dilution analysis, etc., to obtain monoclonized hybridoma. The hybridoma is cultured in a medium and the objective monoclonal antibody is separated from the cultured liquid.</p> |
