PURPOSE:To obtain the titled body having high sensitivity and stable potential characteristics by incorporating disazo pigment to a photoconductive layer. CONSTITUTION:The titled body comprises the photosensitive layer composed of an electric charge generating layer and an electric charge transfer layer. The electric charge generating layer contains the disazo pigment shown by the formula (wherein A is a coupler residue having a phenolic OH group, X1 and X2 are each hydrogen or halogen atom, alkyl, aryl, aralkyl or alkoxy group which may be substd.) to give a sufficient absorbancy to the titled body, and is a thin film having for example, <=5mu, preferably, 0.01-1mu thickness to shorten a range of the generated electric charge carrier. Thus, the titled body having high sensitivity and stable potential characteristics, is obtd. |
