PURPOSE:To enable making use of the light emission of a light emitting diode efficiently by providing a reflection plate which has plural reflectors for reflecting and focusing the light emission of the plural light emitting diodes on the conductive pattern of a substrate. CONSTITUTION:A light emitting diode structure consists of a substrate 1 formed with a conductive pattern made of such as copper, plural light emitting diodes (LED) 2 aligned and installed longitudinally and transversely on the conductive pattern of the substrate 1 and a reflection plate 3 for attaching to the substrate 1. The reflection plate 3 is formed with plural parabolic shape reflectors 4 for reflecting and focusing the emitted light of each LED 2 and radiating forward efficiently as convergent bundle of rays. Within the light emission of the LED 2, the light radiated upwards from the LED 2 (approx. 70-80 % of the total light emission) is reflected by the surface of the reflector 4 and focused to be radiated forward from the reflection plate 3 as convergent bundle of rays. The convergent bundle of rays enable achieving the reference of luminous intensity by JIS and SAE. |
