<p>PURPOSE:To prevent stop of the whole line due to misregistration of supplied fasteners by disposing a heavy cargo carrying pallet movably in the vicinity of a lifter for assembling a heavy cargo such as an engine and supplying fasteners such as bolts to the heavy article on the pallet. CONSTITUTION:A device for mounting heavy cargoes such as an engine B and a suspension C to an introduced car body A includes, in a heavy cargo mounting station S, lifters 1, 2 for positioning heavy cargoes on pallets so as to dispose them in correspondence to assembling positions of the car body A. There are provided in the vicinity of the lifters conveyer supply means 4, 5, and there are disposed in a conveying path of each of them a heavy cargo unloading station S1 where a heavy cargo is placed on a pallet and a fastener supply station S2 where fasterners such as bolts are supplied on the pallet 5. Even if the supplied fasteners such as bolts are shifted from the normal positions, the positions thereof can be corrected on the way from the fastener supply station S to the lifters 1, 2, preventing stop of the whole line.</p> |
