Constant velocity joint comprising a first element carrying planar sliding surfaces formed by three pairs of planes 8a, 8b evenly angularly spaced about a first axis XX', in which the planes 8a, 8b of each pair are parallel to one another and to the first axis XX', a second element producing linear contacts evenly angularly spaced about a second axis YY' and intermediate elements 11 comprising planar surfaces parallel to the aforementioned planes 8a, 8b respectively, characterised in that rolling bodies are interposed between the planes 8a, 8b of the first element and linear contacts defined by the second element and in that the latter are formed along generatrices of rollers 2 mounted rotationally on journals 14 of a tripod carried by the second element. <IMAGE>
