The connector is composed of a body 20 and cover 21. The body comprises a base 22 and two chimneys 23, 24 located on the same side of the base. Two hermaphroditic contacts A are fixed to the base 22; each contact is constituted by first 1 and second 2 ends connected via a central part 3 twisted through 45 DEG ; the second end is located inside a chimney, one 23 of which has an internal diameter D equal to the external diameter d of the other chimney 24. The body comprises, on two lateral faces, hooks 31, 32. The cover comprises two longitudinal walls 40, 41 and two lateral walls 42, 43 each comprising two fixing notches 44, 45 interacting with the hooks of the bodies. On the same side of a lateral wall, the cover comprises two blind holes 46, 47 for the passage of an insulated conductor 38. When the body and the cover are assembled, an electrical contact is established, between an insulated conductor and a first end 1, which is of the insulation-displacement (self-stripping) type. <IMAGE>
