PURPOSE:To improve reliability of a fuel filling work by arranging such that a speech is announced from a speech announcement device arranged at a filling nozzle or hose by means of a speech control signal issued from a filling control circuit thereby making it possible to listen to filling information securely. CONSTITUTION:With an operation of a descent switch 17A, a filling nozzle 14A descends, a motor 5A starts, a filling control circuit 29A issues a speech control signal to a speech circuit 30A, and the speech circuit 30A announces a filling start greeting and the kind of fuel as speech signals. Accordingly, while an operator or a driver of a vehicle 36 is informed of a speech information issued from a speaker 19A near at hand, since the speaker 19A is located near the nozzle 14A, the speech can be heard clearly. And after performing an intended amount of filling, when the operator closes the nozzle 14A and draw it out of a fuel tank, and presses an ascent switch 18A, the nozzle 14A ascends, a speech signal is outputted from the circuit 29A to the circuit 30A, a filling finish greeting and an amount filled are issued, and speech information is issued from the speaker 19A so that the driver can learn of the amount filled.
