PURPOSE:To remarkably improve the degree of dehydration of org. sludge contg. water at a high ratio by preliminarily adding and mixing a high-polymer flocculating agent to and with the org. sludge and subjecting the sludge to an electrolytic treatment at the time of subjecting said sludge to the electrolytic treatment then to dehydration filtration. CONSTITUTION:The high-polymer flocculating agent (preferably strong cationic high-polymer flocculating agent) is added at about 0.1-1.0% per solid content of the sludge to the org. sludge and the sludge is subjected to the electrolytic treatment at the time of subjecting the org. sludge which contains the water at a high ratio and is generated in a sewer treatment plant or night soil treatment plant, etc., then to the dehydration filtration. More specifically, the high- polymer flocculating agent has substantially no corrosiveness to iron and Al as compared to a hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, etc., which are heretofore used. Said agent considerably reduces electrode consumption and improves electrolytic efficiency by its own flocculating effect. The degree of dehydration of the electrolytic sludge is thus remarkably improved by the addition of the extremely small amt. as compared to the amt. of the conventional high-polymer flocculating agent to be added.
