Tapered laminated tubes can be produced from cylindrical laminated tubes by being worked on a tapering machine, known per se, for aluminium tubes, comprising a tapering mandrel, a tapering die and a compressed-air feed situated in the mandrel, in which arrangement only the tapering die is heated, preferably in a controllable manner.
