<p>In a steam generator, the drying device (30) consists of a stack of successive layers of elementary driers (40) having the approximate shape of funnels. The driers of (40) are disposed in each layer according to a regular network, of square or triangular mesh, the nodes of the network formed by one layer being vertically over the centre of the meshes of the adjacent networks. Each drier (40) provides a 180 DEG turn in the rising path followed by the steam, in such a way that the gravitational force is added to the inertial force to ensure the separation of the water droplets. The return of the water is ensured, separately from the path of the steam, via the centre of the driers and then via drainage channels (42). <IMAGE></p> |
