<p>PURPOSE:To shift the phase of an input clock with simple constitution by detecting independently the rise and fall of the input clock, using a separate programmable counter and measuring the time to shift the phase. CONSTITUTION:The circuit is composed of a reference clock generating device 17 to generate a reference clock CK having a repeating frequency larger than an input clock 10a, the first flip flop (hereafter, FF) 11 set by the rise of the input clock 10a, the second FF12, the first - second programmable counters 13 - 14, the third FF15, a presetting circuit 18, etc. Thus, the rise and fall of the input clock 10a are independently detected by the first - second FF11 - 12, the first - second counters 13 - 14 are used and the time to shift the phase is measured by the data from the reference clock CK and the presetting circuit 18. By both output pulses, the third FF15 is driven and the phase shifted signal is synthesized and outputted.</p> |
