PURPOSE:To manufacture ceramic filters for separating fine particles by contacting and fusing each of outer periphery faces of ceramic discs of thin microminiaturized diameter having fine pores of 10mum - hundreds of mum diameter in a state of the compacted arrangement. CONSTITUTION:Ceramic filters 1 for separating fine particles are manufactured in the following manner. After fine glass tubes are heated up to a high temperature and drawn to the necessary separating diameter of 10mum hundreds of mum, thousands - ten thousands of the fine glass tubes are bundled while being coated with ceramic paste. Said ceramic coated fine glass tube bundles are disposed in a state of the hexagonally compacted arrangement. Next, the glass section of said fine glass tube bundle is removed with hydrofluoric acid to prepare a ceramic green molded product. Then, said ceramic green molded product is calcinated in a high temperature and cut into ceramic filters 1 of adequate thickness having through-fine pores 1'.
