PURPOSE:To efficiently attain the recording and the preservation of the content of a message, by selecting and accumulating the desired part of the content in a conference with plural callers. CONSTITUTION:A CPU105 connects the telephone sets 101a and 101b of subscribers A and B to a voice storage device 106 simultaneously through a conference trunk 201. In case of recording the message by the subscriber B, by inputting an accumulation control signal (PB signal) from the telephone set 101b, a control signal detection circuit 202 in the voice storage device 106 detects the signal. And the sound data of the message branched at the conference trunk 201 is digitized by an A/D converting and compressing circuit 203, then being compressed, and is stored in an accumulation area allocated for a callee in a large capacity storage device through a buffer memory 204. Also, by inputting the accumulation control signal from the telephone set 101b of the subscriber B, it is possible to cease sound recording, therefore, it is possible to record selectively the arbitrary part of the message.
