PURPOSE:To facilitate the registration by providing a horizontal regulation means to advance and retreat a regulating shaft connected to a printing plate barrel and a vertical regulating means to change the intermeshing phase of a driving helical gear. CONSTITUTION:If a horizontal regulating handle 23 is turned after trial printing, a regulating shaft 17 retreats in a bearing 15 and a printing plate barrel 3 moves horizontally, completing horizontal regulation of the plate position. Further, if a fixing nut 35 is loosened, and a vertical regulating handle 34 is turned, a gear 32 rotates by intermeshing with a pinion 31. This results in the movement of a sleeve 25 to an axial direction by a spring action and at the same time, of an integrally constituted helical gear 10 to an axial direction through a thrust bearing 28 and an inscribed gear 9. At that time, the helical gear 10 moves sliding to an axial direction in the intermeshing section of the gears 9, 7. Consequently an intermeshing phase of the helical gears 10, 12 changes slightly, and in turn, the phases of the plate barrel 3 and an adjoining plate barrel vary enabling vertical regulartion of plate registration. |
