PURPOSE:To extremely easily form an image without making any cleaning operation, by using an ultraviolet curing pressure sensitive adhesive for forming the image. CONSTITUTION:A negative 4 is placed on the surface of the transparent film 1 of a photoresist which is formed in such a way that an ultraviolet setting pressure sensitive adhesive 2 is applied on the other surface of the transparent film 1 and peeling paper 3 is stuck to the layer of the adhesive 2. Then the original negative 4 is exposed to ultraviolet rays and the adhesive 2 is cured in accordance with the light and shade of the original negative 4. After the irradiation, the peeling paper 3 is removed. Therefore, the uncured part of the adhesive 2 which is not exposed to the ultraviolet rays keeps the state of the pressure sensitive adhesive and the exposed part is cured. Thus a positive type image is formed on the surface of the film. When metallic powder is scattered after the removal of the paper 3, the metallic powder adheres to the uncured part of the adhesive and does not adhere to the cured part. If ultraviolet rays are again applied thereafter, the uncured part is cured with the metallic powder adhering to the part and a negative pattern of the image is produced. When the powder of a substance which well transmits ultraviolet rays is used instead of the metallic powder, the same effect can be obtained in an extremely short time. |
