PURPOSE:To realize the free change of information on the input parts of different hardware specifications by providing a setting part for basic data to be decoded with reference to a conversion table. CONSTITUTION:When a CAD system is used, the basic data showing the relation between an input pattern obtained with operation of a button proper to a tablet device 3 serving as an input part connected to the CAD system and a logic output pattern set against said input pattern is stored in a basic data setting part 7. The changing position of the picture displayed on a CRT2 is decided when an operator who judges said changing position is correct pushes a prescribed button on a table cursor. This button information is detected by the device 3 and sent to an interface part 8. The part 8 decodes the received converted button information into the corresponding button number with reference to the part 7 and sends the button number to a computer 1.
