<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the change in tape tension due to inclination of a base by providing an arm position correcting means for correcting the change in the relative position of a tension arm to the base because of the self-weight of the arm when the base is tilted from the horizontal state. CONSTITUTION:In the tape tension controller where a spring latch is provided at one end of a pendulum 22, when the base 1 is tilted, the pendulum 22 is rotated clockwise and the spring latch 6 is moved upward. As a result, a spring 5 is stretched and the tension of the spring 5 is increased. In setting the deflection of the pendulum 22 so that the moment with respect to a fulcrum pin 2 due to the increment of the tension is balanced with the moment of the fulcrum pin 2 by the self-weight W of the tension arm 3, the change in the tape tension due to the inclination of the base 1 is cancelled. In tilting the base 1 in the opposite direction, the pendulum 22 is turned rotated counter clockwise as shown in an altrernate long and short dash line, the length of the spring 5 is shrunk and the tension of the spring 5 is decreased. As a result, the tape tension change due to the inclination of the base 1 is cancelled.</p> |
