Method and device for preventing metal elements from corroding, said metal elements being longitudinally coated with a protection mantle and being exposed to different pH values. The electrodes are placed, one to the positive potential, the other to the negative potential of a direct voltage source used as corrosion protection device. The electrode to the positive potential is connected by a large surface to the mantle surface surrounding the metal elements. The negative terminal of the direct voltage source is connected to the metal elements and/or is grounded. |
