PURPOSE:To easily and quickly obtain a silver image of high sensitivity with a high concn. by increasing pH by the reaction of a basic metallic compd. hardly soluble in water and compd. which make reaction to form complex with the metallic ions thereof with water as a medium. CONSTITUTION:The pH is increased by the reaction of the basic metallic compd. hardly soluble in water and the compd. which can form the complex with the metallic ions constituting the basic metallic compd. hardly soluble in water with water as a medium at the time of processing. An example of the basic metallic compd. hardly soluble in water to be used includes calcium carbonate, etc., and the uncolored compd. is more particularly preferable. The complex forming compd. to be used forms the complex exhibiting a complex salt having >=1 logK value of stability constant with the metallic ions constituting the basic metallic compd. and a preferred example includes a picolinic acid, etc. |
