发明名称 CLAMP MECHANISM FOR HOLLOW DISC
摘要 PURPOSE:To clamp a disc with a center hole without using man power, by using a form memory alloyed actuator. CONSTITUTION:A hollow disc 1 is supported by a table 2, while a truncated conical center hole presser 4, consisting of an elastic body, is tightly attached to a center shaft 3, clamping the disc 1, and a form memory alloyed actuator 5 is connected to the center hole presser 4. When heat is added to the actuator 5 and it is restored to its original form, the center hole presser 4 becomes smaller than a center bore of the disc 1 by the actuator 5 so that setting and removal of the disc 1 are possible to be done. When the actuator 5 comes to less than the restoring temperature, it is restored to its original state again by dint of elastic force of the center hole presser 4. Thus, the center hole presser 4 is formed into a truncated conical form whereby clamping can be made yet stronger.
