The invention relates to a device for mounting a lever 14 on a moving component 16 through an opening in a wall of a casing 10, the lever 14 comprising an elastic clip-in finger 32 with a projecting tooth 34 engaging in a window of a cylindrical housing 26 of the component 16, and an unlocking tab 38, securely fastened to the clip-in finger 32 and allowing the lever to be dismantled from outside the casing. The invention applies in particular to devices for mounting levers for controlling the flaps in heating and ventilation or air-conditioning installation casings on motor vehicles. <IMAGE>
