PURPOSE:To use the rotating force of a motor during turning of an arm at a prescribed angle by turning the arm at the prescribed angle after the straight going motion of a tray is stopped. CONSTITUTION:A tray 1 is pulled out, and a driving gear 5 is engaged with a linear part of a rack gear; and when the gear 5 is rotated clockwise by a motor M16 in this state, the tray 1 is pulled in to carry a disk to a reproducing device. When the gear 5 reaches an arc part of the gear 9, an arm 8 is turned, and the gear 5 continues rotating. Since the radius of curvature of the arc part and that of the arm are equal to each other, the tray 1 enters into the still state and is held there. The rotation angle of the arm 8 is read, and the rotation of the motor 16 is stopped when this angle is a prescribed value. After the operation of a player is terminated, the arm 8 is reversed to move the tray 1 in the direction of an arrow A, and this extent of advance is read, and the rotation of the motor 16 is stopped when this extent corresponds to a prescribed position. A gear 15 is formed in the rotation center of the arm 8 to obtain the rotating force.
