A decorative web, foil or sheet of plastic or other material is produced by means of a binder being applied in a predetermined pattern to a substrate. Decorative material is arranged thereon, preferably in powder form, after which any decorative material which has not been bound by the binder is removed. Addition of binder in a new pattern and of decorative material having a colour or structure different from the one first applied, as well as the said removal of excess material, is repeated until the desired final pattern has been obtained, after which the arrangement obtained is hardened, in the present case after levelling and application of further layers. <IMAGE> |
