PURPOSE:To permit the sure and easy joining of an amorphous alloy plate to the other metallic plate by forming a plating layer on the amorphous alloy plate, disposing the metallic plate to face the plating layer side and subjecting the two plates to cold press welding. CONSTITUTION:The plating layer 13 of copper, nickel, zinc, etc., is formed to 0.3-10mum thickness on the surface of the amorphous alloy plate 11 having 25-100mum thickness. The metallic plate 15 consisting of, for example, aluminum, stainless steel, iron, etc. is disposed to face the plating layer 13. The alloy plate 11 and the metallic plate 15 in this state are subjected to cold press welding by using a Sendzimir roll. The direct press welding of the amorphous alloy plate 11 and the direct metallic plate 15 which is heretofore extremely difficult is surely and easily realized by forming the plating layer 13 in the above- mentioned manner.
