PURPOSE:To miniaturize an entire system and prevent the generation of jamming by providing a recording paper stocker and a reversing stand which holds the recording paper temporarily almost in parallel in close proximity to a holder on a transportation route for the recording paper to be discharged from a platen and again feeding the recoding paper sent to the reversing stand by a paper route selector toward an insertion position for the platen. CONSTITUTION:When a selector switch of one side printing and perfecting printing is set OFF, only the one side printing is performed and when the switch is set ON, the perfection printing is carried out. since a holder 9, a reversing stand 11 and a stocker 10 are provided almost in parallel all close to each other, the insertion direction of two recording papers 12 from the holder 9 and the reversing stand 11 to an insertion position (a), and the discharge direction of two recording papers 12 to the reversing stand 11 and the stocker 10 from a discharge position (b) almost coincide with each other. In addition, as a change in the direction of the recording paper 12 at the reversing stand 11 is minimized, the transportation route of the recording paper is simplified, and at the same time, the movable range of a selector disk 25 at a paper feed route selector 23 has only to be small. Thus the selector 23 need not be of large size and enables recording paper to be automatically reversed to print the both sides of said paper.
