PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of water collecting and draining functions by a method in which the upper end of V-shaped water-collecting net is closed by a trench-shaped connector, a water-draining trough is housed in the lower end of the net, and a filter is set between the connector and the trough. CONSTITUTION:A fence 1 for sheathing is formed by integrally combining a water-collecting net 2, a connector 3, a water-draining trough 5, and a filter 6. The net 3 is shaped into a V form along the longitudinal center line by using a net material, e.g., metal net, etc., and the connector 3 is shaped into a trench form with a holding groove 13 having a downward opening. The upper end 15 of the net 2 is integrally inserted into the groove 13. Groundwater absorbed from the water-collecting face 27 of the net 2 side portions is filtered through the filter 6 and drained from the trough 5. The water not to percolate the ground is drained from the trough 23 of the connector 3. The collection and draining of water in the ground can thus be effectively attained and the sheathing of slope can be protected.
