Machine for brushing and moistening cheese loaves during their ripening. The machine consists of a chassis 3 supporting at the upper level a chute 5 in the bottom of which is placed a tipping mechanism that comprises two rollers 9 and 10, which rollers, by means of a jack 16, roll a cheese loaf 8 further forwards between horizontal and vertical brushes. The loaf is then pushed onto a lift platform 42 which takes it down to a lower chute 7. <IMAGE>
