PURPOSE:To remotely revise a reply message by revising storage content depending on voice information sent in succession to a updating command at the time of receiving the revision command of the content of a storage means after the transmission of the response message in a telephone set having a recording/reproducing function. CONSTITUTION:In detecting an incoming call by an FM signal detection section 9, the voice information stored in a DRAM 8 is sent to a line 17. It is assumed that the revision command of the storage content of the DRAM 8 is recieved from the line 17 after the transmission. The revision command is given by using a pass word number. The pass word number has channels 1 and 2 and a voice recording/reproducing section 7 reproduces/records at every channel for 8sec respectively. When a sent signal is coincident with the pass word number of a pass word number recording section 14, a prescribed signal sound is sent to the line 17 via a MODEM section 18 and an NCU 16 and the voice information sent from the line 17 is recorded on the channel designated by the pass word number of the recording/reproducing section 7.
