The bedding faces of the blocks have reciprocal male and female formation and the range of blocks includes half-blocks, corner-blocks, vertical closers, and blocks forming jambs and lintels for windows or doors. The prim. blocks (1) may be of a double barred 'H' shape in horizontal section with twin 'I' shaped projections (6, 7) on the upper horizontal surface, and a partly open rectangular recess (10, 11) on the bottom horizontal surface. A sec. block has an 'I' shaped (6) and an 'O' shaped (41) projection on the top face and has one vertical edge face (21) closed to form window openings etc. A third type of block is a half bat complementing the prim. and sec. blocks at window openings.
