发明名称 PRODUCTION OF ALLOY POWDER FOR PERMANENT MAGNET ALLOY
摘要 PURPOSE:To efficiently produce high-quality alloy powder for a permanent magnet alloy by subjecting a mixture composed of a specific compsn. consisting of a rare earth element, B and Fe to heating and reduction by adding metallic Ca thereto, then cleaning the mixture with an aq. cane sugar or alkaline salt soln. CONSTITUTION:A rare earth oxide, Fe powder or Fe oxide powder, B powder or ferroboron powder of B oxide powder and if necessary, Co powder or Co oxide powder, Ni powder of Ni oxide powder, etc. are compounded and mixed to make the following compsn. in a method for producing the alloy powder for the rare earthiron-boron permanent magnet alloy essentially consisting of 3-30at% R (where R; rare earth element including Y), 2-28% B, and 65-82% Fe (including Fe partly substd. with <=50% Co or <=20% Ni). The metallic Ca or CaH2 is mixed with such powder mixture at 1.0-2.0 times the stoichiometrical required amt. required for the reduction of the above-mentioned oxide and the mixture is heated at 900-1,350 deg.C in an inert gaseous atmosphere. The resulted product of reaction obtd. in the above-mentioned manner is cleaned with 0-20% aq. cane sugar soln. or 0-0.5mol/l aq. alkaline salt soln.
