<p>Disclosed is an implantable device for the injection of fluid into a patient's body. The device includes a non-invasive external part which magnetically cooperates with the implanted portion through a magnetic field. The device is entirely mechanical and is capable of delivering both a continuous dose of fluid as well as instantaneous dose of fluid. The mechanism comprises a fluid reservoir, a catheter, an elastic means, a regulating means, a magnetic drive means, a gear transmission means and a flow adjustment means.</p> |
