PURPOSE:To record a moving picture free from black-out together with still pictures by recording a moving picture information signal stored in a storage means when a still picture is generated with a shutter member in case of simultaneous recording of the moving picture information signal and a still picture information signal. CONSTITUTION:When the first stroke of a shutter release button 24 is turned on, the moving picture signal is recorded. Picture information stored in a CCD 3 by the operation of a shutter 2 is read out to a picture memory 10 at the first transfer timing just after closing of the shutter 2 at the operation end and is read out from the memory 10 to a PCM encoder 13 in a prescribed time to record a still picture. While the still picture signal is recorded on the PCM area of a tape 22 from the memory 10 through the PCM encoder 13, the tape 22 is fed automatically to record moving pictures and still pictures simultaneously though the button 24 is erroneously returned to the first stroke. Thus, the moving pictures free from black-out are recorded together with still pictures.
