In order to reduce the work expenditure and in order to improve the operational reliability, the objective is that when the centre coupling (12) is actuated all the associated intercommunicating gangway protection couplings (a, b) are automatically moved into or out of coupling engagement. For this purpose, the spring (10) which counteracts the pivoting movement of the claw (5) is arranged in the cylinder (8) of a pneumatic piston/cylinder unit. Its piston rod (9) rests on the claw (5) in its closing direction, the cylinder (8) being vented via its air feed line (11), the double-seat valve (16) and the air coupling (15) when the air supply is shut off by the valve (16) which is actuated by the main bolt (17) of the coupling. <IMAGE> |
