PURPOSE:To enable torque to be smoothly transmitted by surrounding the side surface of a laminated spring with a coil spring, and making act just as an universal joint by the flexibility of the laminated leaf springs and coil spring. CONSTITUTION:Into the interior of slits 14, 15, laminated leaf springs 16 which are composed of a suitable number of thin leaf springs laminated each of which has a breadth nearly equal to the diameter of an output shaft 2 are inserted, and a coil spring 17 common to shaft end parts 12, 13 is externally fitted so as to surround the laminated spring 16. The laminated leaf springs 16 transmits torque by the twist elastic force thereof, and the coil spring 17 prevents the laminated spring 16 from getting out from the slits 14, 15. Accordingly, even if an offset exists to some degree between a motor shaft 2 and a worm shaft 5 or between these shafts 2, 5 and the coil spring 17, it is absorbed by the flexibility of the laminated leaf springs 16 and coil spring 17 and the transmission of torque can be smoothly carried out.
