<p>PURPOSE:To enable smooth and simple supply of sheets despite of the use of cassettes having a number of sizes, by a method wherein a device is constituted such that a plurality of cassettes are formed into one unit, and the cassette containing sheets having a required size is conveyed to a sheet fed part. CONSTITUTION:A multi-stage cassette unit 16, provided with cassettes 12-15 sized to be, for example, A3, B4, A4, and B5, at spaced vertical intervals, is mounted to the side, having a sheet feed part 2, of a duplicator body 1 placed on a moving desk 11. The unit 16 is constituted such that each of the cassettes 12-15 is vertically movable, and the arbitrary cassettes can be carried to a sheet feed part 17 set in a position located opposite to the sheet feed part 2. For example, the cassette 12-15 are respectively threadedly engaged, at a nut part, with a plurality of screw shafts extending vertically, and each of the cassettes 12-15 is vertically moved, with the screw shaft rotated by driving a driving motor.</p> |
