PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of eddy air by providing a wing type ring on an eddy generating part on the outer part of the suction side tip of a vane on the upper course part of the suction side of a fan guide. CONSTITUTION:In a fan body 3, plural vanes 32 are provided on the outer periphery of a hub 31. A wing type ring ring 5 is provide on an eddy generating part on the outer part of the suction side tip of the vane 32, on the upper course part of the suction side of a fan guide 4. When operating a propeller fan in a low flow rate zone, the generation of eddy air in the front and rear positions in a air blow-out direction of the vane 32 can be controlled by the ring 5. Thereby, the static pressure characteristic and specific sound level characteristic of the propeller fan can be increased.
