PURPOSE:To hold a valve traveling piston at a neutral position by providing a neutral spring consisting of both a disc section abutting on a shoulder section and an elastic clip coming in contact with a flange section with pressure between the flange section provided to a spacer and the shoulder section opposite to said flange. CONSTITUTION:When a master cylinder is inoperative, a right and a left pressure piston 61 and 62 are pressed by the set load of a pressure adjusting spring 10. As a result, valves 181 and 182 are opened, and an input and an output oil pressure chamber 131 and 141, and 132 and 142 are communicated respectively. And valve traveling piston 81 and 82 are kept at a neutral position by a step of abutting the disc section 11a of neutral springs 111 and 112 on both the shoulder section 6a and 8a of the pressure piston 61 and 62 and the valve traveling piston 81 and 82 by the force of an elastic clip 11b. In this case, as the set load of valve springs 201 and 202 can be set as desired, the valve opening characteristics of the valves 181 and 182 are maintained to be satisfactory.
