PURPOSE:To aim at improvement in sealability and reduction in the driving torque required for opening or closing a valve, by installing fluid passages, to be interconnected with each to both inner surface backs of an insertion bole of a valve plate and of an outer circumferential seal part. CONSTITUTION:A face seal part 11 of an elastic seal member 9 is formed with an insertion hole 15 where a valve plate 5 is insertable. In each thick wall part at both sides of this insertion hole 15, there are provided with fluid passages 16,and both ends of the passage 16 are interconnected to the feed- exhaust port 17 formed in a body 1 via a passage 14. When compressed air is fed to this feed-exhaust port 17, an outer circumferential seal part 10 and an inner surface of the insertion hole 15 of the face seal part 11 are deformed inward and stuck close to a tip outer circumference of the valve plate 5 and both side edges. And, when a pressure fluid is drained out of the feed-exhaust port 17, the valve plate is easily shiftable.
