PURPOSE:To prevent the crack of the end part of a valve body and reduce noise at the time of operating at a low speed by forming a reed valve with a fiber reinforced resin and bonding an elastic material on the face of its end part opposite to a valve seat side. CONSTITUTION:A read valve body 4 with an openable/closable valve port 3 is installed on a valve seat 2 formed on a reed valve main body 1. The reed valve body 4 is formed with a thin plate of fiber reinforced resin and an elastic material 6 is bonded on the end part of the valve body 4. Thereby, the crack of the end part of the reed valve body can be prevented while reducing noise.
