PURPOSE:To obtain a copying image having clear hue by transferring a multicolored toner image, which is formed by repeating a step of forming a color toner image corresponding to a chrominance signal by developing an electrostatic image with a pressure fixing developer, and a rotation of an image forming body at plural times, to a transfer material. CONSTITUTION:The developer composed of a non-magnetic conductive toner (for a pressure fixing use) which is packed in a hopper 7, is scratched and transferred to a processing range by rotating a fur brush, and during transferring it, the layer thickness of the developer is controlled by means of the member 6 of controlling the layer thickness of the developer, and preferably, the toner image is effected a non-contact development impressing direct and alternating current bias coming from an electric source 9. To transferring and fixing the toner image to the transfer paper, the toner image 50 mounted on the image forming body 1 is sticky transferred on the intermediate transfer roller 51 followed by transferring and fixing the toner image mounted on the roller 51 to the transfer paper by contacting the pressure contacting roller 52 which is energized with a spring 57, with the intermediate transfer roller 51 at the pressure contacting force of for example 1-20kg/cm. Thus, the multicolored image which has a high resolution, and especially, reproducibility of the black image and the clear hue is obtd. |
