PURPOSE:To prevent the lowering in image quality by eliminating the defective contact of a current supply heat generating sheet and a recording electrode, in a transfer type recording apparatus using the current supply heat generating sheet, by coating the current supply heat generating sheet with a liquid conductive member. CONSTITUTION:A current supply heat generating sheet 12 consisting of a conductive layer and a color layer is coated with a liquid conductive member 16 prior to being supplied to a recording head 13. The liquid conductive member 16 comprises a substance, which does not flow as water even if is applied to the sheet and has viscosity enough to penetrate into the unevenness of the sheet and has a resistance value of several-hundred OMEGA, and uniformly applied to the sheet and recovered in the vicinity of the recording head 13 by a recovery apparatus. By coating the liquid conductive member 16, defective contact is not generated even if the sheet 12 or a recording pin or a recording roller 11 has unevenness and a good quality image is obtained. |
