<p>PURPOSE:To reduce a time till a hinge pin is forced to be fitted with no generation of imperfect press fitting, by changing the press fitting pressure of a cylinder so as to force the hinge pin to be smoothly fitted. CONSTITUTION:A pressure device 1 comprises a set of press fitting arms 2, 3, and the arms 2, 3 are separately connected with a bearing case 4 and a guide rod 5. The pressure device, which connects a hydraulic cylinder 7 with the arm 3 in the bottom side while a piston rod 7a of the hydraulic cylinder with the arm 2 in the upper side, forms grooved parts 8 in point ends of the arms 2, 3, and the device holds a hinge pin P by fitting its head part to said grooved part 8. While a gripper 9, which is additionally provided in the arms 2, 3, grips the point end part of the pin P, and its press fitting is started by extending the cylinder 7. In the end of the press fitting, a press fitting pressure of the cylinder 7 is changed, and the pin is forced to be smoothly fitted.</p> |
