PURPOSE:To enable to shelf-life stability as well as to release a photographically useful reagent meeting to timing of processing by processing a specific silver halide photographic sensitive material in the presence of dihydroxy benzene and/or aminohydroxy benzene after effecting a low exposure of the prescribed material. CONSTITUTION:The photographic sensitive material contains silver halide photosensitive emulsion layer which is combined with at least one kind of the blocked photographic reagent shown by the formula. The prescribed material is processed in the presence of dihydroxy benzene and/or aminodihydroxy benzene, after image-wisely exposing it. The dihydroxy benzene and/or aminohydroxy benzene remarkably accelerates to release various kinds of the photographic useful reagent from a precursor thereof or rapidly advances to a releasing efficiency of the photographic useful reagent. The precursor may be added to any one of layers of the silver halide photographic sensitive material. The method of adding the precursor to the prescribed material lies in adding the precursor itself to the coating solution which constitutes the layer or in adding by dissolving it to a solvent such as water or alcohol, etc., with a suitable concn. |
